Kedron Hills Cruisers
Hello and Welcome!
The Kedron Hills Cruisers is a neighborhood swim team that competes in the summer swim league. The summer swim league is organized by Peachtree Aquatic Team (PAC). There are 10 teams in the summer league and they are all located in Fayette County. Currently the neighborhoods with swim teams include: Planterra Ridge, Wilshire Estates, Whitewater Creek, Woodcreek Estates, Timerberlake, Lake Redwine, High Grove, Lake Windsor, Kedron Hills and PTC Pirates community team.
The Kedron Hills Cruisers practice and compete in the month of June, sometimes we begin in the last days of May. Practices are Monday - Thursday mornings and swim meets are Thursday evenings. The team competes in 4 dual swim meets, two teams against one another, and 1 city championship at the end of June with ALL nine teams in the summer league.
We have a wonderful Guppy Program for swimmers age 3-5. We also have programs for beginner swimmers, better than beginner swimmers and advanced swimmers age 6-18. See our practice schedule page for additional details.
Parent participation is key to the swim meets running efficiently. We require that each family volunteer at a minimum of 2 swim meets. For families with small children, we have some jobs that can be done before swim meets at home. We will need more volunteers at home swim meets. A volunteer sign-up email will be sent for each swim meet. We are also always looking for youth helpers to teach our guppy swimmers. Many youth volunteers earn for credit school requirements or clubs they are part of. Our guppy swimmers and youth volunteers form wonderful relationships.
The Kedron Hills Cruisers do accept non resident registrations on a limited basis. Priority registration is for Kedron Hills residents and members that were on the team the prior season. After that initial registration is complete, we will evaluate the age groups and see where we can possibly add additional swimmers.
The Kedron Hills Cruisers like to have FUN and we like to COMPETE! We have expectations of our swimmers and help each individual swimmer reach their personal best!!!
